Once again you show us what a class act you are. You didn't read, and posted . Someone brought it to your attention that the subject was being discussed, and instead of saying "My bad", you choose to take a pot shot at us (Guess you still aren't over your childish little grudge on me because I said what the whole state knew). On top of that you call another poster a smart arse, and the guy was just razzing you. Take a chill pill dude. Life is not that bad man.
There's actually 3 seperate threads already that are discussing this topic.
Note that I rarely post on the sports section of this forum, and have posted considerably less on the other sections in the last few months.
You don't have to be 'addicted' to run a quick scan of the thread titles before posting and seeing if a very large, significant sports news item that's been out for hours has already been posted on.
However, as I lived in Blacksburg for 7 years, I have a habit of keeping up with the news over there; this is why I kept up with the Vick situation.
The little backhanded comment was a bit unnecessary.
Although this is a repost, there is only one thing I have to say:
Thank GOD Vick is gone. His NFL hopes are out of there as well if you ask me - and I thank God for that as well.
He doesn't deserve to even play the game PERIOD.
I bet he goes pro, is picked in the 2nd or 3rd round and sits on the bench for a few years, and then makes someone very happy they picked him. Its always better to be a late round pick, not a lot of pressure to play right away gives players a chance to develop.
Dont get me wrong, I dont think Vick is very polished or even a good quarterback. Though he has a lot of potenial to be, the best place to learn is the NFL IMO.
