I heard this on the news. A man who had repeatedly been sexually abusing a 4 or 10 yr old girl over a period of years, was only given 60 days in jail?
Nancy Grace i think it was she was furious about it. And i have to say i, couldn't imagine such a light sentence, for such an act.
60 days? For a guy repeatedly sexually abusing a young girl?
Who are these idiot judges and jurors who find these people guilty and give them these light sentences...Knowing good and well they will get right back out and more than likely do it again and again only to give them a few more days on their next sentence...These people who do this to these children should be locked up for good for doing that to those children...Put them in some cells with hardened criminals that have kids and let them tae care of them so the taxpayers won't have too.
I think he should get the chair and the judge should get the 60 days.

There are so many people inside and outside this courtroom where this took place that are appalled. I saw an interview with the prosecuter of this case and she is shocked and upset. The judge in this case said he would not overturn his decision even though he admits this man would be a danger to society. The judge went on to say that he was concerned about this sex offender not getting the help he needed if he was locked up. I thought this system was there to protect the innocent and lock up those that are a danger to our society. I hope this judge is out of a job come soon and maybe he will one day face the fact he set a sick,perverted man free. This man will do this again to another innocent child, and if that happens then the judge should also be held accountable.
The judge sure should cause with a sentence like that you know he's prolly just gonna be plotting for the next time

Well i know when i posted on this, this morning. I thought maybe it was just a mistake. And some news media dramatization.
But actually read about it today. I don't understand a judge letting a known sex offender and especially a child molester off this easy.
I couldn't believe it myself. This happened over and over for a period of at least 4 yrs. And the man gets 60 days?
Unbelieveable. And i have to wonder what kind of judge would give such a light sentence to a person who could do this to a child.
