Coin toss Sunday
It's a shame that Clintwood and PV's fate will be decided by a coin, and not a game...I don't see how one team can be told, "Well, sorry...You didn't win the toss?!"
Anyways, here is what is at stake
The loser gets in the bracket with #1 seed Gate City, and has to travel for the satellite game at GC in the first round. This bracket (minus GC) has to win 3 games in 5 nights to make the Regional Tournament.
The winner gets in the #2/#7 bracket, and only has to win two games to advance to the Regional Tournament. On top of that, the Round 1 satellite game for the 3 seed will be at JJ Kelly.
The difference to me is substantial. The difference between GC and Kelly is about an hour from Clintwood.

Re: Coin toss Sunday
come on, cryin about being the 7th or 8th seed is ridiculous. All of the other teams have to win 2 or 3 games too. PV and Clintwood werent good enough to give themselves more favorable draws now they get to dig themselves out of the hole that they put themselves in to begin with. Ive heard it all now, complaining about who is the 7th seed in the worst district in the region, sheesh.

Re: Coin toss Sunday
well that makes more sense, but its still shows that people give up before they even take the floor against gate city, here is a poster thats already conseeded the tournament to gate city. No wonder they never lose, they have everybody intimidated before it even starts.
