incredible movie... Great remake, surpassed the original. Will go down as one of my favorites, in it's type of horror.

Sounds good, might have to watch it sometime. I never actually watched the original so would you recommend checking it out BEFORE seeing this version? Or should I just go ahead and watch it?
(P.S. I still enjoy my "The Hills Have Faces" idea, LOL. I think I had a little bit too much sugar the night I made that picture though. )
You dont' have to see the original to see this one. It's great.. you'll love it.. Go see it, enjoy it, then come back and post how great it was
much agreed. I loved it def. a great flick for all horror fans. 9/10
good lord..
good but gorey
I knew it would be a gorefest . Today I was 1 of about a dozen people in the theatre for the 1:45 show . This woman brought in 3 (10-11 yr. old boys ) to see this movie . They will all probably pee the bed tonight not to mention the nightmares. People do not take kids to this , please !
I've never seen so many pick axes to the head . This director left nothing to the imagination (no cut away shots), it was red and splattering . Lots and I mean lots of those make-you-jump shots all thoughout the movie. Almost to the point of come on now.
About the past 3 scary movies I've been to (Hostel being one of them) there have been SEVERAL small kids taken to these movies...it worries me that parents are taking kids that look to be no more than 8 or 9 years old to these types of things. It's called common sense...I think we've lost a lot of that.
That's something i'll always remember my parents being cool about, while some parents were too pressuring on the situation. I never had any restrictions on the movies that i was able to go and see, or rent (besides porn of course..lol), back when i was younger i could go to an R rated movie, and that was in the days when they didnt really check for ID's if you look young, which some theatres are known to do. Seeing movies in the 3rd, 4th , and 5th grade which had violence, cussing, nudity, and the likes, never took an effect on me, i turned out to be an alright person. I really dont think that parents should keep their kids on the "tit" so to speak, ya know??
