Since Al Saunders is the new OC in Washington, the skins will be going to more 3-4 wide reciever sets so they went out and signed Randle El and traded for Brandon Lloyd.
I know the bears went pretty hard after Randle El and didnt want to overspend, so I would assume that Snyder paid top dollar for Randle El.
I believe that there is a good chance that Antonio Bryant ends up in San Francisco where he is basically the same player Lloyd is plus they got a 3rd and 4th rounder out of the skins.
I had hoped the Steelers would've been able to re-sign him, but Randle El was going for the money, ( which I don't blame ) but the Steelers will have to find a WR, and a PR. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Dear God...don't say that...I hear Bryant is an absolute cancer in the locker room and just isn't a smart player when it comes to learning offenses. He's the last type of player that Nolan needs in that locker room as they're building around younger kids.
He had his run-ins in Dallas with Parcells, but evidentally he was a really good teammate in cleveland. He had over 1000 yards recieving last year and Cleveland would like to resign him, but they didnt want to pay him #1 wide reciever money that he wants. They signed Jurevicious yesterday to a much cheaper deal because Braylon will be their #1. They used the money they would have given Bryant by signing LeCharles Bentley and the other lineman from Atlanta.
Do you guys really think that Randel El was worth what the skins paid for him(30 Million dollars)? I think hes a good SLOT receiver and a great punt returner but thats alot of money for a guy that is only a third or fourth option. Keep in mind, David Patten is still there too.
As big of a Steeler fan as I am I will say that Randle El is good but not that good. It hurts the Steelers more to lose him that it will help the Skins to have him. He was a big part of the Steelers explosivness and I don't think most teams can use him like the Steelers or should I say won't use him like that.
I am with starbuck on this one, he's just not worth it. Steelers need to go out and get the deep man, I bet Buress is kickin himself in the rearend now.
Skins just signed Adam Archuleta as well.

Moss, Patten, Randle El, Lloyd...all about the same size.
