Six Year Rankings

The rankings of our Annual Recruiting Survey have been relatively consistent through the years. With six years worth of data, it's interesting to see how the states rank over that period of time.

Here is how the top 14 states have stacked up over the past six years:

VA not bad at all.

States our size just cannot compete with those massive states like California and Texas.

Again, the population of NOVA dwarfs the population of little ole SWVA.

and that obviously plays a big part in it...think about which states have the most cities or metropolitan areas...california, florida come to mind...new york would as well, but football isn't as big in the northeast as it is in the south...if SWVA was more populated, VA would be one of the top 5 states

Wonder how many of those North Carolina players come out of Charlotte Independence?

Cali has twice the population of Florida with texas having about 5 million more people than Florida. Just going by population, Florida looks to be the most productive state.

There are some real sleepers on there. I consider Jersey to be towards the top.

Still hard to believe, especially after looking at that that Texas hadn't won a title in over 50 years till this year.
