Bret Favre
a few questions:
1. will this be his last year?
2. will he keep the starting position all year?
3. if he keeps the starting position will it be because of his
play or because of his name?
on a personal note I think Bret is one of the best to play the game in the last 30 years. He could have played in any era of the game and succeded. Now at the end of his career what will happen?

Re: Bret Favre
great quarterback. with the new coach in green bay, it will be a lot easier to sit favre in november when the pack is 2-8. i think favre is smart enough to realize that at some point the organization must move forward without him.

Re: Bret Favre
Nope not his last year
Yes he'll keep the starting position
A combination. If the Pack doesn't have the injuries of last year, they'll be much better. How many teams could run out their what, fourth or fifth running back, have most of their receivers out and be effective. Favre's worst problem was he tried to make plays, when the players he had weren't capable or didn't do right. I mean some of his interceptions looked horrible but when you're running out some of the people he had trying to catch the ball, what do you think the odds are/were that they didn't run the right route, pattern , check off or such. His biggest issue was not throwing the ball away a lot of the time.

Re: Bret Favre
Don't see how they could possibly get away with sitting him no matter how bad it gets. Would be a very unpopular move with the fans. I am willing to bet that if Favre was walking down the street in Green Bay beside the President and the Pope, people passing by would say "hey look there's Brett Favre."
