Commercial Breakdown for the Subway 500: For those of you NASCAR fans that like stats and love to hate commercials, here is the breakdown from the race on Sunday afternoon. There was one restart missed completely; and one in which when they returned from commercial the green flag was waving (too close to call it).

Restarts missed due to being away at commercial: 1

I have watched the least amount of racing this year than I have ever, I do catch the highlights and keep track of everything but I don't believe I have missed much by not watching the races.

if you'll notice, the ratings for nascar are way down. "experts" attribute this to NBC's commercial breaks. FOX does a great job covering nascar. i can't wait until ABC/ESPN takes over next year.

I don't by that NBC's commercials are the cause, I am gonna feel confident in saying that crappy racing is the reason for the ratings drop.

Thats the reason I dont watch. Nascar stinks.
