Earl Campbell... amazing to watch! Was all the Oilers had and he took them to playoffs every year. Unfortunately they relied on him so much that he only had a few good years in him

I believe Barry Sanders is the best of all time...

Most of those had long time careers and proved themselves.

I'd have to say Walter Payton or Barry Sanders. Got the yardage during some bad seasons for the teams they played for.

Had it not been for some miscommuincations on a call. Sanders may of went another year or two.

Toss up in my book. Payton or Sanders. Both class acts.

Jim Brown was great in his day, but totally overrated in comparison to the competition that people like Barry, Walter, and Emmitt faced. Even Earl Campbell. Had Brown played in the 80s, and 90s he would have been good, but know where near great. He would have been Bam Morris, but slower.

Not the best, but my all time favorite was Larry Csonka.
