Great Article. It's a shame I wasn't able to see the real Griffey while he is in Cincinnati. He was the closest challenger to Maris before the Roid guys took over. He and Matt Williams would've probably gotten the record during the strike season.
If not for injuries, Griffey could have been the best ever. Unlike some of those that are being considered, he did it without the juice.
i wouldn't be so sure griffey jr. hasn't been on the roids throughout his career.
