Virginia State Wrestling Tournament

Did not see where anyone had posted the results for the State Wrestling Tournament.
Aaron Crabtree placed second in the 285 weight class. Scot Whitehead was ranked 1st in the state and Crabtree was ranked 2nd and that is the way it came down to in the finals. Whitehead against Crabtree. Whitehead won 4 to 2.
I believe Jeremy Gilliam placed 8th in his weight class.
Ryan Phillips won state for Castlewood. Matt phillips got 4th. I believe bob purkey got 6th, Mikey Phillips got 7th and Adrian thacker(St. Paul) got 8th. Congrats to all of the Wrestlers. Anytime you can make it to state and place is a great accomplishment.

congratulations to all of those young men. wrestling is one of those sports that doesn't get alot of exposure but in my opinion is the most difficult to excel in. they way wrestlers must maintain weight throughout a 3-4 month span. you must be dedicated and diciplined to wrestle.

Forgot to say that Aaron Crabtree and Jeremy Gilliam go to J.J. Kelly.

I posted it the other day (Keeping My Fingers Crossed was the thread). I'm proud of 'em all.

Thanks. Went right past it. Good posts.
