Offensively how do you score a K but batter reaches first on a passed ball. Is it an at bat? Does it count as hit? How will it affect your BA?
Thanks in advance.

yes it is an at bat it's counted as a strike it brings your BA down, but idk what it's scored it's either an error or a passed ball
It counts as an at bat and a k. That is how rarely you hear of a pitcher recording 4 strikeouts in an inning.
I would think its normally scored as either a wild pitch or a passed ball.
Additional data
No error shall be charged when the batter is awarded first base on four called balls or because he was touched by a pitched ball, or when he reaches first base as the result of a wild pitch or passed ball. (i) When the third strike is a wild pitch, permitting the batter to reach first base, score a strikeout and a wild pitch. (ii) When the third strike is a passed ball, permitting the batter to reach first base, score a strikeout and a passed ball.
i always thought it went down as an error on the pitcher if it was a wild pitch or an error on the catcher if it was a pass ball?
If it is a dropped strike 3 and the batter reaches first base it is recorded as an K and an error on the catcher.
Well I'm quoting from a rule book
10.14 (f)(1) is the ruling, so at least I have some backing for my comment.
