Re: The Fairness Doctrine
My take on talk radio is this... if there wasn't a demand for conservative talk, then why are we seeing such a dramatic shift to the right? Jennings, Brokaw, and all their ilk have done nothing except promote their propaganda. Folks are yearning for a voice that agrees with their assessment, and ABC, CBS, and NBC fall far short of provding it.
Re: The Fairness Doctrine
Well, considering you say you are doing better with Bush as Prez, and would gladly pay $4 per gallon for gas, I'd say you love conservative talk. My voice is no more uncalled for war, and a government that might raise my taxes once per year but not gouge me all year long to line their oily pockets...so I kinda like the news media we have when it comes to politics...maybe not on much else...but politics, for sure.
Re: The Fairness Doctrine
Sure you do...one lib to another! lol

Why did Air America fail? Could it be because no one wanted to listen to their tired spiel?
And why has Limbaugh had the biggest radio audience for the last 15 years?

Assuming this is a rhetorical question, let me venture to say that he has been a lone voice crying in the wilderness. No other media outlet has ventured out to address the issues as he has.
