I just got home from bristol. went to the drags. man what a day. well the last two days. i cannot get over the way the drivers are in the drags. They will sign anything you have. they walk around just like everyone else. Nascar needs to learn from the nhra drivers.
You need to come out and watch the bracket races. I dont know if they are having any at bristol this year since they dont want to mess the track up again but theres always rogersville. And heck if you want an autograph im sure some of us will give ya one lol
I may try to make it to Pinks All Out the 20-21st I believe it is.

Nascar was this way for years, but it is a little more difficult for the drivers in Nascar to go wandering around amongst 150,000-200,000 people than it is for and NHRA driver to be amongst 5000-10,000. There is a completely different type of person at the drags than at a Nascar race, the NHRA and the driver's will do whatever it takes to help grow the sport whereas Nascar and the driver's have to worry about personal safety, just like an NFL, NBA, MLB player you don't see them out walkin around the stands signing everything they see. You just can't compare drag racing to any other sport in that respect.
