East Vs. West
The East All-Star football team absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt pounded the living crap out of the West team.
Va. Tech signee Tyrod Taylor finished with over 200 yards total offense, two touchdowns. The one play that stood out was a Michael Vick, Ronald Curry type play. Ball was on the East 35 yard line, Taylor looked left, no one there, rolled right, ducked and avoided a sack from a West lineman... and boys.. I joke you not, threw the ball at least 70 yards...A defensive man had the interception but it deflected off his hands and the receiver caught the ball at the five yard line and dived in the end zone.
Like that all night for the west. The West team also threw a pass that was intercepted and returned as well for a touchdown. Total dominance by the East though.
Game got ugly at the end. Taylor was clearly out of bounds and then got hit by a West player on the track. A melee broke out and the refs called the game with a 1:40 in the fourth.

The Roanoke Times had a little bit on McCracken, Jennings, and Heldreth. McCracken was 9-12 for 64 yards in passing.

Spurlock from PV got Defensive MVP for the West
Tyrod Taylor and Davon Morgan were Offensive and Defensive MVPs for the East and the game
Tyrod showed up at VT today for their one-day high school camp and had his elbow taped up from landing on the track on the late hit, but it doesn't look bad
