I thought John Moorehouse had a good article today in the KTN about Vick and VT. Any VT fans who read it, I would like you opinions on the article as well. I sort of agreed with Moorehouse on this one.

Moorehouse is a UT reporter. What does he know about Virginia Tech football or Michael Vick, for that matter. Why is he trying to give VPI advice on how to handle this situation when he's never covered one of their games or interviewed Vick?
What difference does that make? He isn't even a UT fan to be honest, he is a UVA fan. He just got put into the UT reporter because they fired Bliss. But, his column made a lot of sense. Plus, maybe he has interviewed Beamer, or Vick. He probably did cover a VT game or two considering he was probably worked the sports journalist beat at UVA and covered their matchups.

[fake outrage] You're right. Freedom of the press doesn't cover going out of your usual scope of expertise, even if it's in the same sport you're covering. Moorehouse has no right whatsoever to write an opinion about a football matter...who the hell does he think he is!!! [/fake outrage]

Moorehouse has become a very good college beat guy. I spent a lot of time with him on the sidelines of area high schools in 00 and 01, he's a nice guy.

Still don't understand what any of this has to do with Tech and why they should even worry about it at all. Their is absolutely no ties to tech with this situation and they should have never even been mentioned at all.
The Turner deal sounds good, just if I go to Atlanta it will be to fish Lake Varner.

why would someone write an article about VT and Vick?? it's not like he just left VT, he's been in the NFL for twice as long as he was at VT
Beamer supposed to keep tabs on Vick even when he is in the NFL??
