Free to good home
Veteran coach at large national power. Known for his lack of ability to win the big game.
Record breaker! Under his coaching was able to not only be ranked top 5 in the preseason but also able to be the first (that's right the first!) ranked team to lose to a smaller division school
Available--immediately!

Wonder if this puts the AD under pressure from fans/media?

I can't wait to watch the Lloyd Carr show tomorrow.

Re: Free to good home
He will blame it on himself, and how unprepared they were. How can you not be prepared with Oregon coming in? Not to mention coming off an embarrassing loss to Appy St. But I dont think they will fire him.

Re: Free to good home
That was his line last week. Unprepared, etc.
I just want to hear him say that they just plain suck.

Re: Free to good home
Do you think they will fire him? They had huge expectations this year.

Re: Free to good home
Probably not. He's been there too long. He'll be there until the end of the season.
If he had a brain, he would resign and coach the rest of the season or turn it over to the assistants. That said, he's been there for a long time and I'd say most of the assistants are very loyal to him.

Maybe UT could use a man of his caliber.

Why would Texas get rid of Mac Brown?

Re: Free to good home
Its a damn shame that someone has to win the game next week when ND comes into town.
