Yeah I know. I didn't even read through half the crap. And please everyone don't think that everybody from Burton acts the way some showed last night. I heard and saw a lot of actions from both sides that was ridiculous. Anyway, it was one helluva game for those who really enjoy watching it. Good Luck to the Vikings thru the rest of the year.
Fun game, sad it ended the way it did. Thing could turn into PV/Appy of the 90's (Rivalry Wise) if both school continue to be the top two teams in the LPD.
Yeah me and Freddy were talking at the game about how big the Burton/PV game has gotten. When me, him, utvols2 and a few others on here were playing, we never thought it would be this big. Funny how time has changed.
Immature people my man.
i usually wait till Saturday or Sunday night.
but goddamn, sorry mega and ut, i really hate losing to norton.
just not used to it ever happenin
Man its crazy how things have changed. When we played, my basketball team was the big kids on the block and here came these young dudes named Bailey, Thompon, Warren, McCoy, J Jones etc and knocked us off our junior years and then time after time my senior year. One thing I'll never forget was how nice all of those dudes were to me. If I ever saw them out somewhere, they'd invite me over to their houses to hang out with them and there was a lot of respect between our schools. Around that same time, there was a lot of racial stuff going on between PV and JJK, Kelvin Davis getting jumped at a track meet, etc and naturally everyone from Burton wouldnt have pissed on anyone on fire from Kelly at that time so there was a common bond there. Never would I have thought there would be such a dislike between everyone.
On another note, its piss poor that the cheerleaders from both schools act the way they do. That crap has been going on for 5 years between the 2 schools and to be honest, the people in charge should be disciplined for approving those signs, particularly the one that Burton made which had NOTHING to do with football. That crap makes me angry because it only instigates more serious problems like fights and vandalism. If authority figures cant take responsibility for that kinda stuff, then how in the world can we expect kids to. Some people might think Im going overboard here, but I really dont think Burton's cheerleaders should be allowed to cheer this week. There was an intent in that sign and everyone knows it. While PV's signs werent all that funny to me, they at least did have something to do with the game of football.
I dont like this so called rivalry at all. Its not a rivalry, its alot of crying, complaining, bellyaching, and adults not taking any responsibility for their own actions. The best sportsmanship in the whole place was on the field that night.

just out of curiousity - what did that sign say?
I couldnt quote it verbatim but the message was essentially that PV's cheerleaders are "easy"
I really hate to see what happens after this game next year. It's pitiful really.
