UM @ FSU
Wow, the refs are really screwing the Canes over right here. The two spots there on the goal line were absolute shite. James had the first down, didn't get a good spot. Freeman's forward progress put him past, once again spotted about 1/3 of a yard short.

Re: UM @ FSU
mega and I were there, and it was crazy. This isn't a knock on Doak, but it's still nowhere near as loud as Lane can get. Also, when things are going decent for F$U fans in the stands, they act like they just won the natl title. However, when they're going bad, all you're hearing about is how they're getting screwed over. I know not all their fans are like this, but about 7 out of 10 fans I was in earshot of tonight--that's how they acted.
As for the game, Miami did just enough to win, and F$U folded in the 4th. X Lee is a good QB when he doesn't have to worry about being under pressure situations. When Kyle Wright went down, mega and I both thought we were done. We didn't think Kirby Freeman could make enough plays to lead us to the win, but he somehow did. Amazing ending though, with McCarthy housing that fumble. Myself and mega were talking about how much the team as a whole grew up today. Major road win in exceptionally hostile territory...just what the doctor ordered after those 2 straight losses.

Re: UM @ FSU
Remember back a couple of months ago when all of us were talking about how much fun it woould be to do a little friendly wager and if FSU beat Miami, I would throw up the FSU avatar, and lpdblue would don the Cane avatar if Miami won, and UT and Bama fans would do the same? Where are the Bama avatars fellers? I expect Zack to make good on his. He is a person of integrity lol.

Re: UM @ FSU
I had completely forgotten about the bet but never call me one to hedge on anything. It was never said that it couldn't be something worth looking at.

Re: UM @ FSU
Doak isn't really meant to be loud, it holds roughly 80,000 and where it's more of a bowl shape it doesn't hold sound very well(and I'm sure if I'm wrong Blue will correct me). I love Tally though. I always enjoyed games at Doak b/c my seat was actually big enough so that even if some large people sat in the row it was still comfortable and the chop thing is kinda neat *lol*.
We're hoping to go to the FSU/VT game I'd love to experience Lane Stadium and see how it compares to a game at Neyland as far as how loud the fans can get.
