Re: BHC: History with Hayes
Yeah it's hard to believe.. He's pushing 40 now.. I'd love to go back to the glory days and watch his high school and college career over again.
Re: BHC: History with Hayes
I thought someone told me that Calvin was at one of the Region D tournament games last year, but I haven't seen him in a long time. I did see Brad Knuckles at a game not long ago.
I'd love to see some film of some of the guys like Calvin, Brad, Stacy, and Trazel playing basketball or some of the old Powell Valley and Appalachia football games.
But, it makes you realize just how far down hill we've gone in sports here.
Re: BHC: History with Hayes
I never saw Calvin in HS, but saw Trazel a few times. Great player, and when I talked to him at ETSU he was a great guy as well. I thought he was a hot head at Ervinton, but he was fun to watch.
Re: BHC: History with Hayes
Great basketball.
I wonder if Trazel's family still lives over in the Clinchco area.
I found this info where Trazel won a poker tournament in TN back in the summer...

Re: BHC: History with Hayes
Yeah Calvin was at one of the regions games last year.. I've seen him at a couple other games as well.. His nephew (Meade) plays for Castlewood.
Re: BHC: History with Hayes
I know some of Trazels family still does. One of his cousins is a friend of the family. She nows lives in Roanoke and is married to an official in the ACC.
Re: BHC: History with Hayes
Oh God please tell me it's not Karl Hess.
Re: BHC: History with Hayes
His name escapes me at the moment, but no, its not Hess.

Karl Hess sounds like a Nazi war criminal.
