Philip Rivers
Gotta give the man some credit...he's tough. Sources revealed that he played Sunday after a surgery following the Indy game and played without an ACL. He might talk a big game, but when it come to toughness he walks it. The thing I found funny was Neon Deion's criticism of Tomlinson's toughness...lol. Deion was a great player, but much of the time he tackled like a little girl..he shouldn't be criticizing anyone's toughness.

Re: Philip Rivers
I think LT was right in the press conference....
"A 100% Turner and Sproles is way better than a 50% me"
I think he is right, especially about Turner, he is a heck of a back, and could start on many teams...

Re: Philip Rivers
Did anybody see Brandon Jacobs' hit on Charles Woodson near the beggining of the game. Woodson came in like a high schooler would on his heels to tackle Jacobs and well as Chris Tucker in Friday would say, "You got knocked the f'ck out, MAN"
I have criticized Phillip Rivers probably more than anybody but I will not say a word about the kids toughness, playing with a torn ACL is no joke. That may make me come around and warm up too him a little.

Re: Philip Rivers
Jacobs took GBs LBs for a ride more than once as well. Then you have Bradshaw who can't keep paint or stickers on his helmet...lol. Way back in HS, we had a QB that played 4 playoff games with no ACL or MCL...just a brace. You have to admire toughness.

Dude I really thought he might have been knocked out for a sec, Jacobs put the smack on him

Re: Philip Rivers
No one ever said he was a wus, that was never my issue, but I still think the fact of him being an ass isn't going to change. Yeah, he's possibly the toughest guy on that entire team, but it doesn't mean I have to like him any more.

Re: Philip Rivers
Like and respect are 2 different things. I don't like him (but I hate the Chargers along with Denver, KC, NE and quite a few others)..but I respect his toughness.
