We feel your pain Green Wave fans. That has been done to us more than once. Terrible job by the 3 stooges tonight.

Congrats to the ladies from JJK and coach Dotson on winning yet another LPD crown. In Robin's 21 years at the helm,this is title #13. THIS effort is the one that I have been waiting on. the Lady Wave didn't have a shot tonight with that trap execution being what it was tonight.

Congrats to the men from JJK, winning a piece of their first LPD crown since 2001. As for Clintwood: I think the staff is doing the best they can with what they have,but shame on the athletes from that school (footballers in particular) for not playing basketball there at CHS.

I actually didn't think that was the worst crew we've had. 1 is one of the better officials around (IMO), one I don't recall much of before (which probably means he's decent), and the other, well I'll reserve my comments for now...

Kelly girls executed well that I saw. Mullins getting in early foul trouble and the starting PG for the Lady Wave not playing in a game against Kelly @ Kelly was just way to much for them to overcome.

I'm impressed with the effort of the Kelly boys. They are pretty solid from top to bottom, and if you're not patient, they will put 70+ on you with their hustle.

The boys actually played with energy and focus tonight (something that was absent in the last 2 games). I hope this carries over to tomorrow and the tourney. Big Rasnick had a great game for us. He's a load to handle when he gets going. He ran the floor like a young healthy Shaq on that one bucket [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif[/img]

I was noticing he ran the floor well.

It figures, seems to be a reoccurring trend with us this year. We're the wounded animal, everybody plays their hardest and best against us, because they know they can go in for the kill.

We missed way too many chippers tonight though. Matt Dotson blew not 1,but 2 wide open layups,and Rasnick missed at least 1 2-footer. I couldn't help but chuckle a bit at MD banging his hand in frustration against the wall after missing the gimme. He had that Homer Simpson D'OH look going on.

Why didn't Robbins,Robinson,Osborne...etc play basketball? The Wave would be a factor in the LPD with those fellers.

He missed a few gimmes but he kept his head in the game and rebounded from them. I've seen a lot of players over the last couple years that would have missed a few of those and been worthless the rest of the game.

He's a good kid and a quick ballplayer. He'll have a big senior season IMO.

Robbins came out but had knee problems. Robinson didn't want to play I guess and as far as I know, Osborne never has.
