Passing of another great football mind.

Former Coeburn/UVA Wise coach Carl Richards passed this morning after a long battle with brain cancer.

I don't know anymore details or arrangements but will update as I find out, or if anyone else gets them please post them.

I hate to hear that. Carl was a great guy. My condolences to all those that he touched and left behind.

This is a very sad day Coach Richards was a great man and a great Coach i am proud to say i played Football under this man.

Visitation will be held at Sturgill funeral home in Coeburn on Monday from 5-8. He was a great coach and an even better father. Thanks for everyones thoughts and prayers over the past year.
