UFC 84:Ill Will
Should be an excellent card with 3 big fights. Definately going to order this one. My picks are in bold.
BJ Penn vs Sean Sherk for the Lightweight belt.
Wanderlei Silva vs Keith Jardine
Lyoto Machida vs Tito Ortiz (Tito's last fight in the UFC)
Thiago Silva vs Antonio Mendes
Wilson Gouveia vs Goran Reljic

Re: UFC 84:Ill Will
It's certainly gonna be wild, plus we have Elite XC's CBS debut the Saturday after this (on the 31st) featuring Kimbo's bout against James Thompson.
These next two Saturdays are going to be pretty sweet. Heck, we even get Indiana Jones on top of that! Woot!

Re: UFC 84:Ill Will
BJ Penn is hands down one of the best all around fighters today. He just owned Sean Sherk tonight.
The way it looks, Penn is going to step up and make the challenge to GSP.
Over all was a good night of fights.

Re: UFC 84:Ill Will
Sherk just couldn't handle Penn tonight. The jabs of Penn had Sherks face mangled.
WTF was Ricco doing in Tito's corner tonight. Have they been training together.

Re: UFC 84:Ill Will
Helluva card. Very happy to see Wanderlei destroy Jardine. Was impressed with Thiago Silva's g'n'p. The Tito/Machida fight went as expected. That was a sweet triangle into arm bar by Tito. If he would have stayed in the triange, I believe he would have tapped Machida. I was actually wanting to see him win. Expect to see Tito in EliteXC soon. Very impressed with Relij's and Carwins UFC debuts.
It looked like Sherk hurt his right hand in the fight against Penn. But that left jab of Penn's was destroying Sherk. It landed every damn time.
I knew for awhile that, if Penn won, he wanted to move up to welterweight. He's held that belt before. GSP beat him once by a split decision, but this is a different Penn. First GSP has to beat Fitch at UFC 87. That fight wont be easy at all. If he wins, expect to see the GSP/Penn fight late this year or early next year.
Also dont forget on 05/31 Elite XC comes on CBS primetime. Also, what could be fight of the year, the WEC featherweight (145lbs) belt will be the line when Pulver challenges Faber live on Versus.
