Don't forget your keys!

My wife had her car stolen this morning at a local Exxon market. All she was doing was popping in to get a newspaper and something to drink. She was gone no more than a couple of minutes and was parked right in front of the store, which has large windows. Two mofo's hopped right in and took off. How many of us do the same thing? The police are tracking cell phone usage as we speak. Thankfully, neither of our kids were with her. Truly something to be thankful for and to think about.

Thanks guys! You learn something new every day. The mofo's run up all her minutes, so it should just be a matter of time. This in a county with NO stoplights and at 9 AM on a Sunday.

Did Exxon not have no camera's? Hope you find out who is responsible. They have to be pretty stupid to use your wife's cell phone though. Geeesh the things people will do anymore.

my family has had several vehicles stolen

Just an update. We got the car and one of the mofo's involved. Both are minors and will be dealt with. This is the third time that these two have done this, down to the fact that one guy was always the driver and one guy was always the passenger. They actually stole a car from Farmville and drove it over into Charlotte County. These two were from Prince Edward County. The car started acting up and they dumped it. So, they just happened to stumble upon the same situation. And for those of you that mentioned how lucky we were that our kid(s) weren't in the car, thank you. The deputy in charge of the case said this kid probably would've hurt someone that was still left in the car. Basically all they did was drive around and waste a bunch of gas. Live and learn.

what a couple of dumb A's

Sounds like slap on the wristville up there. Do they make a difference between auto theft and joy riding? I know in some places joy riding is seen as alot less serious. Hopefully either way they will put these kids away for while this time.
