Three of us are leaving Wise about 4:00 p.m.
A real good place to eat in Morehead is Bufalo Wild Wings, Its 5 minutes from stadium. And they are calling for rain starting tomorrow evening.
I love Buffalo Wild Wings, we ate at one up in Ohio and it was the BOMB

Isn't this going to be like playing the "Little Sisters of the Poor"?
That's tomorrow? Heck, I'd like to go up and see that myself. It's not 45 minutes from where I live.
KCU is a very young team that has drawn some good talent. Will be a good game for wise to open the 2008 season. At least they get to hit someone besides their teamates. I am just ready for football, good food and good times.
It is always amazing how UVA-Wise finds ways to schedule the weakest none conference schedule imaginable.
Yeah so weak that if it was 2009 playing Kentucky Christian would be playing another Mid-South Conference team...who did you want UVA-Wise to start out with this year? Someone like NCAA DII's #5 Carson-Newman who would do nothing but hurt the team to do so...then UVA-Wise has to settle for a team like Newport News which is not an ideal team to play but when you can't get other teams to play you after the last two seasons but can get a contest in a 'hot bed' of your recruiting area why not do it.
For once Wise could maybe schedule a non conference game that would give them a true test. They would get more out of playing a Morehead State instead of teams that do not know how to play football. Newport News will be more of a test then most people realize.
