If they were looking at this as a sort of throw-away year and hoped to only have a good showing with a winning record then have Tyrod for the next 3 years with a more solid team around him then why make this move. Apparentely they don't think Glennon can do any better than what he showed saturday at all and their only chance is to use Tyrod this year to have throw-away winning season.
Is Glennons brother at NC State?? I remember when he was a senior watching him in the Elite 11 QB competition and he looked pretty good, they said he was one of the top QB recruits in the States

Yep--Mike Glennon played good this summer, but still wasn't good enough to overtake Russell Wilson, Daniel Evans, or Harrison Beck. I'm thinking they'll redshirt him this year and start him the next 4 years, because Glennon in HS was better than any of those 3 QB's are now from everything I've seen.
