O but if it was a Fox reporter you'd be calling for his job
Re: MSNBC is great for the kids
Also note that it's not NBC/ABC/CBS/Fox. It's a cable news channel...less censorship for the most part. Still shouldn't have done it, sure, but it's cable.
Besides...in his own words..."his wife is going to kill him"...so he's got bigger problems than the FCC.

If that's what this thread was about--trying to draw a reaction out of R13 and then to call him out--then grow up and get a life. Talk about the subject or don't post it at all.

That wasn't what it was about. It was about how news stations should realize they are for news and that people of all ages could be watching. However, R13 only sees wrong in things he doesn't agree with and sees nothing wrong with things he agrees with. If he or anyone else doesn't want their views up for criticism or conversation they shouldn't post them
Re: MSNBC is great for the kids
Point is, your sole purpose in life shouldn't be to make a post on here that's transparently controversial, wait for R13 to respond, then criticize everything about his reaction.
Like I said, speak on the subject and what YOU said it's about ("how news stations should realize they are for news and that people of all ages could be watching"). It's great if you two disagree--that's fine...wouldn't be the first time, won't be the last...no need to make it an "R13 sucks" thread like every damn political thread on here has ended up here lately.
Re: MSNBC is great for the kids
Not my fault how other threads have went. He was defending someone that was in the wrong and i didn't agree with his views so i called him out. He would have done the same to me

When you've been one of the main ones driving threads the way of R13 bashing instead of on the subject as I've observed...yes it is.
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">He was defending someone that was in the wrong</div></div>
...according to you.
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">and i didn't agree with his views so i called him out.</div></div>
Instead of calling him out personally, disagree with him and go from there and discuss the subject like you would with any other poster.
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">He would have done the same to me</div></div>
If some people gave him half a chance maybe he wouldn't. I've come to believe part of the reason R13 sounds so stupid all the time is that he has to take the defensive stance all the time on here b/c everyone expects him to side with the liberal stance each and everytime.
I'm not saying he doesn't do that a lot, I'm saying he doesn't do it 100% of the time. He is a kid, give him half a shot and discuss things in a civil manner--maybe he'll learn something. This goes for a lot of posters on here--including R13 himself.
99% of the threads on here degenerate into one side attacking another and no meaningful conversation ever happening, and I'm tired of it.
Re: MSNBC is great for the kids
I'd like to drop the f-bomb on national TV...just to say I did it.
