Venezuela scares me, Chavez scares me, and Russia working with Venezuela scares me
Why be afraid of Chavez or Venezuela? That's like fearing a neighbor's chihuahua cuz it growls and barks alot. We could step on Venezuela...and IMO Russia wouldn't dare face the prospect of an all out war with the US. Their leaders do their lil publicity stunts trying to make an once viable superpower look semi-super again...but, as the world is finding out, as the US economy goes, the world economy goes. If the US struggles to pay for a war, the world will struggle to pay for groceries. That is the best deterrant we have right now at our disposal....and I seriously doubt Russia wants any part of the US. If they did, they wouldn't have capitulated to US demands in Georgia so quickly.
If Bush wasn't going to be out of office in Jan. i wouldn't worry but with the president and congress we're going to have i'm worried.
