I wonder how many people (outside this area) see TJ and his image and think "thug". Just because.....and don't know how smart the guy is and that he is as far from that kind of person you can get.

Why a thug?
thug may have been too strong of a word but I bet they look at his image and have a strong misconception about who he is
When he was on cribs I thought "he didn't act like that when he was living in this area". Things change and people change that's just the way it is.

Who cares how some random person on the internet labels an athlete? That doesn't mean it to be true.
I'd be a thug to get paid to do a TV show.
He's got an attractive gf. I liked the Waist Deep movie she was in
It has just got me thinking how many times we jump to wrong conclusions. Take for instance Tony Romo. gets slammed all the time but by all acounts he is a really stand up guy. a real good guy in the sport and life.

Even better example, Jeff Gordon. Everybody I know who have met him, including a good friend who served as his personal security for a night, say that he is very down to earth and nice to everyone.
But to about 80% of the NASCAR crowd he is the devil personified, of course we are talking about NASCAR fans though.....
