I won Felicity's press on ebay last year and it arrived in peices. The party I bought it from was wonderful and reimbursed me my money including shipping both ways. It looked to have been packed very carefully and securely and no damage to the box it was shipped in. I have not bid on the press since because I would hate to see another one be destroyed.
Has anyone else had this happen? if so,
any suggestions on how this item should be shipped safely. Thanks

I have one of the original Felicity Clothes Presses which I will eventually sell on ebay one day. When I do, I plan on specifying that there will be an additional fee to have my UPS Store pack it up. I have seen them carefully wrap computers etc with foam.. and double box things etc etc.
I think that's the only way to go. JMHO

My sister sent me her press for her doll that I just got, this was the older one, if thats what you are looking at, & she had ups pack it and send it, it came packed very well! but cost like 50 to send. But it definatly was the way to go. hope that helps

Needs to be double boxed with lots of foam between boxes. Also all the corners need to be bubble wrapped with 3 or 4 layers. More foam around the press.
I received one the door was falling off. Seller took it back.
My second one was perfect.
But know of others that have received two broken ones. Ouch.
