System Set-up and Test Records

Waaay back when..., we used the Shure TTR (trackability test record) series in conjunction with a 'scope. IIRC there were several different TTRs. No idea what the odds of finding good ones now would be (and they're worthless without the instructions). A used test LP that was really good when new might be of less use now than a new one of lesser Q...

Seems like I remember Shure recommended tossing the TTRs after 20-25 uses.

Do you mean an LP, or will anything with test tones do?
