Would a stacked pair of 511Bs, suitably angled, produce an acceptable widening of the 'sweet spot'?

Hi, bfish,
That security code doesn't seem to work. :D Got the message, anyway. Thanks, Marshall.
Vertically stacked though is a way to get an 805's increased directivity, lower mids 'fullness'/'punch' combined with a more extended top end. Considering the price differential of small Vs large format drivers and the horns, probably cheaper to boot. Unfortunately, the 'sweet spot' only increases in the vertical plane which can be either a plus or minus depending on the listening distance.

vertically stacking is OK, but don't splay. Your results may vary, I was happy with it.
I stacked an 811 on a 511 (as you can see in my avatar) with no adverse effects.
