I hope all the links work.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L75EgBXWfuU]YouTube - Borknagar - Colossus[/ame]

Borknagar -Colossus
this is just an epic band in every sense of the word, they sound what lord of the rings look like.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_aMnV1uaCY]YouTube - Cradle Of Filth - The Death Of Love[/ame]

cradle of filth - the death of love
a very radio friendly song, they have softened some, but gotten better. IMO.
Cruelty Brought Thy Orchids is a brutal song by them. However, give this one a chance, especially when the chick sings, ive let so many people who hate any kind of metal hear this song and they get hooked by her. Btw the girl in the vid, isnt the real girl who sings.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dy-tXOIE1yo]YouTube - Ad a Dglgmut - Between the Buried and Me [HQ][/ame]

super band from charlotte, by far and I mean this the biggest contrast of gutteral to melodic, screams to flat out beautiful singing. Im going to see these guys in Feb and am very excited. oh, their name is Between the Buried and Me

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fb5t4w0K1Ds]YouTube - Darkest Hour - "Demon(s)" Victory Records[/ame]

Darkest Hour, melodic, heavy, I could see many people on here becoming a fan. technical, lyrical, super band. Im a big fan.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38j-i8jH7xk]YouTube - Behemoth - Conquer All[/ame]

pure brutal. pure metal. pure evil. no lie
not for the faint of heart, Behemoth

I would post a Dimmu Borgir video, but they may cross the lines, The Sacrilegious Scorn is one of the, if not the most offensive video Ive seen. The bass players voice though is just haunting. Check it out if you want, but not if you are offended by anti-religious themes.

Ill post a few more, hold on a sec.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4V_hgdRCQ4]YouTube - cannibal corpse hammer smashed face[/ame]

sadly, no real video with this one, but one of my top 10 fav songs of all time
the name says it all. Cannibal Corpse's Hammer Smashed Face

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARN29cPv0VM]YouTube - Type O Negative - Everything Dies Live[/ame]

legends, with a legendary song.
Type O Negative
Everything Dies

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJanOgc7qpc]YouTube - IN FLAMES - Ordinary Story[/ame]

favorite song, by my second favorite band
IN FLAMES

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80kOBeMEm2I]YouTube - Nightwish - Nemo [HD 720p][/ame]
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SO4LyKd-Hws]YouTube - NIGHTWISH - Nemo[/ame]
nightwish, beautiful song, beautiful woman
two versions, the one sounds better, but the other you can see Tarja better.

Anyway, check out some of those, prob wont be liked by many, but if its not
