I watched Kerry's speech last Thursday. I also wondered by the man talked about almost nothing but his 4 month war record and neglected to mention anything about his 22 year senate record.
Oh....USA Today claims not bounce for Kerry in the polls. HIGHLY unusual after a convention....

I did listen as well Jumper and kinda got the same feeling.
He didnt need to speak that long to begin with, a shorter speech would have done him more good if it had hit the high points with a few memorable lines in it.
I agree with what was said afterwards by the some of the press. that he was selling himself to the people in that building and not to the rest of America. He missed a golder opportunity to hit the swing voters with something that would resinate with them.
Speech wasnt bad, but he could have done more with less.
