This is another Hall of Fame switch hitter so compare the numbers. This guy played 21 season compared to 17 for Chipper so averages will best comparables. Anyone know who this player is.
Eddie Murray?
He gets in. Maybe not on his first try though. IMO, Don Mattingly is as deserving...he was a great hitter until injuries slowed him down...in a career that more or less equals out to 10 full seasons he won a MVP award, 9 gold gloves, 3 silver sluggers, and was a 6 time All-Star selection.
