Yet one of the most popular sports in the enitre world.
and N'SYNC was the most popouar band in the world at one time. still dosen't make them good
Terrible comparison, soccer isn't a fad, it's always been incredibly huge worldwide and will always be. Just because it's not big in America, doesn't mean it isn't a good sport, our most popular sport is wimp version of rugby and the our pastime is a game a longer, more boring game with 1/10 of the athletes as a game like soccer.

Conditioning is part of being a true athlete, a huge part. The fact still remains no matter what the reason is, whether the sport doesn't call for it, that they chose the other sport etc...doesn't matter to me. It comes down to us being lazy, look what happened to us in the WBC, the Olympics when we took the bronze home a few years ago...that should never, ever happen. We have more talent, that's a given, yet we get our asses handed to us in the WBC and a few years ago in basketball. Why? Because we have spoiled athletes, that show lesser pride, lesser discipline etc. Soccer is just too simple for it to catch on here in America, we make ours as complex as possible for some reason, if it doesn't have a thousand different penalties...it's a sissy sport according to us.
Yea of little baseball knowledge. Who says we have the most baseball talent? Your crazy if you think that is the case. Go into the Latin world and see what you will find. Asian countries generally focus on baseball as well. Most of the US's best athletes focus on football and basketball. As with any sport anybody can beat anyone, but especially in baseball when a pitcher is in a groove.
I never said we have more talent in baseball, I'm talking generally in all sports. Look at the South Korean baseball team, that's a perfect example of what I'm talking about. If our athletes were as disciplined, strong fundamentalists, strong pride etc as they were, we'd dominate in almost everything with the talent we have here. Look at what Argentina did when the took the gold in the Olympics, did we have a thousand times the talent they did then? Of course, but we had team for of spoiled athletes - without that discipline, lesser pride(and yes that team showed that) and lack of fundamentals(which we don't appreciate as much here, flashy is what sells tickets).
