You're not the first one to say this on here.
its kind of like that old truck with 200000 miles you dont want to get rid of, but it keeps letting you down and breaking down on you when you need it. you eventually get tired of it and scrap it at the junkyard because you come to the realization its a pile.
Do what you want, but the Florida and Alabama bandwagons are full. There should be some room on one of them after the Bama/Fla game in Tuscaloosa.
Way to be a true fan!
Wish I could have done that with the Bengals in the 90s and with the Reds throughout the 2000s. But being a true fan is when you stick with your team throughout. I can't stand bandwagons.
Sticking with your team throughout is when it makes seasons like the Reds are having this year all the more worthwhile.
I just felt like last night was a classic example of why Bud is not a head coach. I like Tech, but it seems like they are unable to make a defensive stand late in the games. Not sure if he overcoaches them then or doesn't change up, or tries to go into a prevent more or what, but it is almost without fail.
Not going to take anything away though. They picked themselves up after some really horrible playing and should have won the game. From what I seen and what talk I've heard from a lot of anti-Tech people, they definitely were not getting the homefield advantage from the officiating. Tech is kind of in that bad place, they aren't the top dog so they get the calls, but big enough where they can still be the 'big bad' to a team like Boise St.
I thought the game was called pretty well as whole. Nothing stood out to me as a huge blown call that I can think of going either way.
I feel the better team lost last night. I am still sticking it out with them like I have since I got into football in the late 80s. I love the team but hate College football as a whole. A good or great teams season is pretty much over with one dang loss. NFL does have the edge in that respect. So does the smaller divisions in college ball. Untill the BC$ comes up with a playoff I just cant get into that division of college ball week in week out.
this is exactly what im saying. the past what, 4 or 5 years Tech has thrown it away on the first game of the season. they actually had a chance to make a huge push this year, take the lead and then blow it. i wont be pulling for any teams, as i stated in my first post, ill just watch it to enjoy it. im sure one of the other 4 good games of the year will be on soon.
