At some point doesn't the man have to get credit?
He lives on a diet of 4 leaf clover and rabbits feet. You don't get credit for botching almost everything and still having the ball bounce your way. Here's the credit he gets, that's one lucky mother ****er. He's dumber than a box of hammers too.
Yes on the first part. On the second part, I can only hope you're joking. He's absolutely clueless. In the 05 game against UT, UT took the lead late and was trying to kill the clock, they had a fumble or INT with less than a minute to go. LSU recovered the ball. Miles, starts running all over the field signaling timeout and screaming at the officials that they needed a timeout. Bo Pelini comes up behind him, grabs him by the back of the shirt and throws him about 5 yards deep onto the sideline, then has to explain to him like he's 5 years old that you don't need to waste your last timeout because the clock stops automatically on a change of possession. Pelini is walking away from him shaking his head and you can see him trying to explain to somebody upstairs what the dumbass was doing. Last year during the Ole Miss game, they're behind and need a td to win. They get the ball inside the 5 with no timeouts and earn a 1st down. There's only 1 second on the clock, so you have to signal a play in from the sideline while the chains are being moved, what does he do? He tells the qb to spike the ball. He does, the 1 second runs off they lose. Les has surrounded himself with a crazy amount of talent and some very good coaches. If he were at 9 places out of 10 with average-below average talent and average-below average coaches, they'd not win 4 games out of 10.
I just wonder what kind of lube he uses to lodge that horseshoe up his butt before he game.
He is a horrible game day coach. He is no **** genius.
He may be horrible, but he is making millions to coach on Saturdays and your sitting at the computer being an armchair QB---has LSU lot a game yet?
I look at Les Miles and laugh, I listen to him talk and laugh, I watch his reaction on the field and laugh, and the thing that makes me laugh the most is some of the stuff he says to sideline reporters, and then his talent always bails him out. To me he is the Nick Colobro of college football anywhere else he would be a total failure. Oh and then Miles laughs at us on his way to the bank.
Les Miles = Dr. Evil with better people around him.
i know a man that wasnt a great x's and o's guy that is in the VHSL coaching hall of fame. some people just have that something extra that gets the guys motivated to go out there and win.
