I saw these on ebay a few days ago but hadn't come across the Craigslist ad. I remember the name TOA from the 70's(?) but don't remember how the quality of their stuff was. I'm afraid to hear how these Model 19 "copies" sound.....

that horn driver has a JBL 175 thing goin on, is it a facsimile, or did TOA source product from JBL?
AFAIK TOA built their own. Coral and Yamaha built some similar stuff...might be Coral. The Corals were used by Dukane after they quit using JBL btw.
TOA is still around...mid quality commercial stuff.
Doubt these are great, but at the price would stash them away so I could leave an interesting garage sale...but the Redhead/OG treaty demands something go for any new acquisitions...and don't have anything I would want to keep less...
Very cool. good catch. Appear to be mimic'd right down to the basket supports.
TOA also has had the only modern production slot loaded PA speakers that I have seen available.
There were a few sets of these:

...floating around last year.
Prices weren't quite good enough to buy on a whim, and no decent excuse to buy came up otherwise.
Would seem load-in/load-out proof, save for the protrusion of the horn.
I'd have liked to have heard them.
These:

...just look too darn cute!
Compare to the size of the couch seat. I wonder what the intended application was.
Tempted, but alas, I still have the same bargain with myself as OG & Co. have.
Cool find! For the price, they would be worth a look and listen. Too bad I'm no longer over on that corner.
Hey, they sound heavy too !
