What did I tell yall bout Lee

I said after the Union game thta this is the best I have seen Lee in years. When i made that comment everyone said "no way! Burton will beat em" I told the burton people not unless you can keep it close in the 4th quarter and can pass. Well seems to me that was what happened. Lee is tough and should win the clinch mountain. Va High is up and down, John Battle is the only consistant team in the Clinch besides Lee.
My hat is off the young men of Ben Hur and To Burton boys for givin them a good game. Hard fought win for JIB and another tough loss for Generals but I think they will do great here on out

GC may be 0-3 but IMHO they have to still be the CMD fav.......Lee WILL beat Lebanon but are to 1 demetual to think they can run the table in the CMD this season......On top of that if they run Grahm 30 times a game he WILL break down

that is true about rinning him 30 times a game. on the SWVA forum someon said that Grahm is hurt and wont play next week against Harlan Co. Idk if its true or hearsay but I will say this Anders is fast as well. Gatecity will pull it together but Lee is no push over like they have been in years past. They got the speed to go toe to toe with JIB and the size to push most any d line out of the way. sometimes one deminsional isnt that bad

He broke down last night in the final 6 minutes. He just ran out of gas

Didn't you also say that Union had the best defensive line in this area since the 90's? Seems like you're batting .500.

Lee isn't much of passing threat, but with that said, they don't need to pass much. That's just the offense. They can however throw the football some, mostly short passing and mostly on 2pt conversions although Sage is a good deep ball threat when he comes on.

lets see bout the D line. they allowed Grahm to rush for 200 plus and still won. If im not mistaken and I may be but JIB gave up more yards last night on the ground against Lee. TW gave up way more than Union. So im pretty safe in saying that Yes this is the best D line we have had in 10 plus years between pv and appy (which was what i said)

If that's what you said I apologize. I thought you'd said this area since the 90's. Even with saying that, I don't agree. PV and Appy both got to a state title game with a better D line than what's in BSG right now. They've given up almost 500 yards rushing in 3 games. If the Johnson kid had played more offense in the Richlands game they'd be way over 500 allowed so far. Lebanon who has the worst run game they've had in at least 10 years got over 100 against them last night. Again, if I'm remembering wrong, sorry. Either way I think you're wrong and are doing a disservice to at least those other two teams mentioned above that got to state title games in the last decade.

Rushing stats for Lee: 292 against Union, 509 against TW, and 474 against Burton.

sounds like Union performed the best on D line against the Generals to me
