Why is it that everytime Mr. Ortiz does his ninth inning magic the several players who batted in front of him managed to get on base.
Why does the number nine guy get a hit, why does the number one guy in the line-up get a walk? I just don't get it.
Indians win game two, 6-3. Boston does score two runs in the ninth on a two run blast off of Cabrera.
CC pitched terrific ball for 8 innings.
It was a hot night, so CC stayed in the air conditioned clubhouse between innings and also drank 8 or 9 bottled waters. I mention that because keeping cool between innings probably helped his energy level stay high, yet keeping cool without cooling off one's arm must be a bit of an endeavor, no?
