Need Advice on Mortal Kombat Kosmos

My well of inspiration seems a little dry. [I have it on good sources that Scarlett Johansson, on advice from her Management, has scuttled her bloodthirsty female Wild Bunch [her words] "Amazon Warrior" film as being beneath her new dignity as a Woody Allen Protege and a stolid AVENGER...]. So I'm Blue.

Some Mortal Kombat clips on YouTube have stirred my interest, but I know nothing of its Universe, besides the Sonja Blade fake Kitana fight scene in Mortal Kombat Aberration, (I loved the fight - one of my favorites,.. but the film inhaled poop).

Do these girls seem good matches? Is there something you might suggest.
