Renkus designed, and he took a lot from his Altec experience under Hilliard, including the 3 inch aluminum fram. Some may think $200 is "just okay" for a set of horns/drivers....but large format? Try getting a set of 288 on 511E or any Altec horn for 200...

Way under appreciated stuff.
I have a small collection of Emilar and Renkus small format stuff, i won't mention how it sounds on an "Altec" forum tho.:D

As you know, rare bird. I recall seeing a set years ago, but never say never...
The redhead wanted a set of stone lions..few years back....actually found a small town police station being demolished and scored a pair in marble...weren't cheap. But the look on her face when I pulled the tarp off the pickup bed was priceless...

I think some of that Emilar stuff is fetching higher prices on ebay than it used to....... unless it was just a high opening bid I'm thinking of.
