i hurt my foot....
more particularly, i hurt my toe.... badly.
to make a long story short... my neighbors
have a lab puppy... about 6 months old...
a little over knee-high... and PLAYFUL!
he likes to jump on you... a thousand times...
and he also likes to see if he can bust his
way into my back door each time its opened.
ok... there's the foreshadowing....
now on to the story....
so the day before xmas i let boogie out
back... and i step out to check her water
bowl.
here comes neighbor dog.... barrelling at
me with the speed of a lop-sided freight
train...
i knew i wouldn't have time to jump inside
the door before this chocolate bastard
pushed his muddy paws in (on my newly
cleaned carpet, might i add).
so i turned around and grabbed the door...
bringing it to me, full force... just in
time so that the dogs snout met with the
door....
along with my fucking toe.....
i cannot possibly describe what happened
between the door and my toe... simply because
i remember the pain, then and now... and
the condition of my toe after the incident.
i also remember peg-legging inside, coming
to a hault in the room and crying my eyes
out.
i think i may have screamed too....
anyways....
so my toe is officially GANKED.... and it
hurts and i haven't been able to wear real
shoes. (i started wearing them yesterday)
its still uncomfortable to wear shoes...
at least on that foot. i also can't seem
to bring myself to look at it after seeing
it that one time.
needless to say... the reason i thought to
mention this story is the fact that my
toenail desperately needs to be trimmed
and i simply don't think that will happen
any time soon... as it still bothers me
to have anything near it.
this will only complicate matters because
the length on the toenail will only give
added area with which to come in contact
with various BS that may hit it.
arg.......... again, this thread has no real point

ouch...that kind of stuff really hurts and when you throw a long toenail in the mix it gets even worse.
i really hope it gets to feeling better soon.
