Altec 803A

Original 1957 Altec Lansing 803 A 803-A woofer from A-7 Voice Of The Theater | eBay

Starting bid is reasonable but is there a way to clean the dust/dirt off of this cone? Is it likely the dust/dirt has much effect on the sound quality if the cone itself is intact/sound? BTW, seller also has a 1957 802C from the same cab.....

A feather duster thingy or lightly compressed air Or just fire it up and shake it off. :D
the way it looks maybe it's sun damage since it's across the cone just like when it's mounted in an a7 cabinet. : /
