Very nice!!!! I would call GPA for the right glue, I am sure they would probably send you some. I have been looking for some nice ureis for awhile.......... It seems that the ones that come up most often though, have the wrong speakers in them....... or they are trashed. Great find, when you get them set up, lets us know what you think of them!!!! Although I must say, not seeing that ALTEC badge on the back looks odd to me........

Very cool. you WILL like them, especially in the near field like they are designed for.
Are they 8G, or 8H?
I would only consider these in a properly designed Bass reflex. Not in a 210.
And no, not rubber cement. silicone would work well but you will have to fixture the horn so it doesn't move while it sets up.
Where did you find these? Did you get the Urei crossovers as well?

It's a 604-8G Ron.. I agree with Ron the 210 will be too large for these 604's. Also you don't want to use a glue to permanently affix it to the driver.You'll want to be able to remove the horn again in the future for repairs,recones,etc....

You can't put 16 inch frames in a 210. The later 210A was modified to a 34 inch overall width to make room for the new 16 inch frames. These are early 210's at 32-1/2 overall width. Early style 515's with split rims nearly touch each other as well as the outside walls when mounted on the baffle.
Got any 150-4/150-4C's, or D-140's AA?
Find you some Elmer's "Stix-all". It's silicone based, but sets up a little firmer and stronger than typical silicone.

Looking at the tags again I have a sneaky suspicion they could be 604-8H. The date on them say April-July 1980.These drivers should have Tangerines.Take a look here.

You only have to look down the throats with a flashlight to see the tangering phase plug.
-H would have had the mantaray horn. I have seen photos of -G with the manta horn as well, not sure if those had the tangerine phase plug though.
BTW, the cone number is a recone I believe. But a real Altec number.

Reconed by GPA. 8G's or so I'm led to believe. Guess I'll have to find a flashlight. They did come out of original 813s, and belonged to the fellow in the LH thread Doodlebug....
