Being a cheap bastard I find that to be a lot of money for caps. See if you can find a supplier of surplus PIO caps, combine caps to reach the value required, best bang for the buck, vastly superior to the Solen previously used. That being said, never used boutique caps larger than .01mfd in value.
Cheers
Parallel two 6.8uF Dayton metalized poly caps, that get's you within .4uF of your 14uF goal for a reasonable price in a reasonable size package.
These will probably work for L-pads: L-Pad 100W Mono 3/8" Shaft 16 Ohm 260-261
How impotent is capacitor size? Well, I've heard some speaker manufacturers claim (non Altec) that it's not the size, but how you use it. ;) Two of these should do nicely..... Madisound Speaker Store
I just read the description/pricing of these capacitors. Several cost over $1,000!? I know this isn't junior high school, but from their description of these capacitors "which necessitates several days of impregnation under high pressure." Insert joke here......

You can parallel/series to get the right values

Get 12uF and a 2uF Jantzen from Parts Express. Really good caps and not super $$$. I love them. Or just pop in a single 15uF and don't worry.
Yes you only need to parallel them to reach your values if you can't find the 14 uF.
Yep, that should do the trick!
