OT: Adiobag private message

I recieved a message from him and it will not allow me to respond saying he doesnt accept or is not allowed to get private messages.

He has been a member since 08' but has zero posts. Would this prevent him from getting messages?

No ! He has them disabled in his user profile settings page..

The no posts thing is probably just the awful search messing up........ I don't get any posts for you either bdblkta, not even this thread.

I think he has them disabled otherwise you wouldn't receive this message.


You would receive a error message (server fail) But then again with this site (HB) anything is possible.

I just checked my settings and I have been set to able to receive private messages the whole time - so don't know what is wrong

OK do me a favor.Send me a private message and I'll respond and see if we can straighten it out.I look into your account settings at Hostboard in the meantime.

@ bdblkta, Yes I think you were right, as he has been a member here for quite sometime, with no posts, he was still considered a new member with restrictions.
