I see where the the famous 755 8 inch speaker has generated some interest with some members.I would like to share a few past experiences about other 8 inch speakers from that era which were just as good if not better,do any of the following bring back memories?

Actually they are somewhat off topic- please remember this is not a general Hi-fi board. I would suggest tacking them on the end of the long recent thread regarding 755's. But I don't run the place, just more a 'concerned citizen'.
That way the thread starts off on topic, and wanders off topic, rather than starting off topic and wandering further off topic. Also, feel the 8 inch discussions should be all together.
As mentioned in PM, perhaps your impressions of how they compare to the 755? BE VERY CAREFUL of loaded statements like "if not better'. Saying anything is the best is often a drama inducer, bear in mind after all it is only opinion. No one of us is qualified to say what is best for anyone else.
I just would like to keep discussions relative in some way. As I said, I don't run the place, so only my opinion.

I think I was taken the wrong way- I just like keeping things relevant to Altec...anything said was a suggestion only.
